This month we are celebrating the amazing collaboration we have built with the Reformation Charity. Our families have expressed how grateful they are many times. One of our mother’s said “I feel so grateful for your help. Your work is now more than anytime, valuable and has a impact on my family. Because of the cost-of-living crisis, every pound counts and more exposed are vulnerable families. We cannot thank you enough!”. Another one added, “To the charity. I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the support and kindness you’ve shown me. You may not realize just how much of an impact you’ve had, but I want you to know that you’ve made a real difference in my life. At Reformation Charity, we believe that real change starts with community. Born out of a simple idea, university students coming together to do good, Reformation Charity has grown from a campus initiative at King’s College London into a full-fledged charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities across London and Internationally.
Our mission is clear: to relieve poverty, improve well-being, and inspire the next generation of changemakers. Whether through essential aid, community-building initiatives, or engaging young people in hands-on volunteering, we strive to make charitable work more accessible, impactful, and human.
In early 2024, as we sought to expand our reach and connect with more local beneficiaries, we found something special in Home-Start. After reaching out to several organisations, Naomi from Home-Start responded, and from that moment, a beautiful partnership began.
Our collaboration kicked off with a simple Grocery Drive, providing much-needed essentials to families in need. But it didn’t stop there. With Naomi’s mentorship and the incredible Home-Start team behind us, our efforts have evolved into a wide-ranging support system for families across London.
Together, we’ve transformed houses into homes through renovation projects, repainting walls and replacing worn furniture. We’ve hosted gifting events for children and festive parties that bring joy to entire families. Each project reflects the powerful impact that happens when local passion is combined with community expertise.
This partnership is more than just logistics, it’s a shared vision. Home-Start has empowered us to scale our impact while staying true to our values. We’re endlessly thankful for Naomi’s guidance and the trust placed in us by Home-Start.
