The information we collect is based on the following lawful basis –

  • Contract and employment purposes (HR, volunteers and trustees)
  • Legitimate interest
  • Legal and compliance

The information we hold about you could include:

  • contact details such as your telephone/mobile number, postal address, email address and IP addresses.
  • any donations we have received from you. We do not collect debit or credit card information.
  • information that you provide to us when registering with our website (including your email address);
  • information that you provide to us when using the services on our website, or that is generated in the course of the use of those services (including the timing, frequency and pattern of service use);
  • information that you post to our website for publication on the internet (including your user name, your profile pictures and the content of your posts);
  • information contained in or relating to any communication that you send to us or send through our website (including the communication content and metadata associated with the communication);
  • any other personal information and special category information that you choose/agree to provide access to to us;

We will not collect any personal information from you that we do not need.

Before you disclose to us the personal information of another person, you must obtain that person’s consent to both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with this policy in respect of children this must be by the parent or legal guardian.  Depending on the age and capacity of the child you as parent or legal guardian should consider if appropriate to consider their rights and interests and consent.

Right to be Forgotten/Retification/ Withdrawl/ Subject Access Request

We have a right to erasure process or amend.  If you wish to be erased, please contact us via info@homestartcamden.org or on 020 7424 1603 for our Subject Access Request information.  However we may need to verify who you are, confirm the information is accurate and the right to be forgotten/ recitification  only is dependent on the basis on which it was collected and may not be available to you in every circumstances, on which we collect this information applies to your rights.  In the event the subject access request or any of the above conflicts with another person’s rights this may or there is a legal  and safety basis in which we cannot provide you with this we will provide written notification to you.
