We’ve had many exciting events and gatherings this last month and many more to come! Here is a look of what happened last month, what we are looking forward for in this month, and all our latest news.
March Highlights
Mother’s Day Event
On Friday the 28th our lovely mother’s joined us for a very special Feel Good Friday to celebrate motherhood, get some amazing presents and enjoy food and coffee with out team members!
Big Hopes Big Future
Our School Readiness programme started with 6 children joining our little school. We are looking forward to improve our classes and create new elements in the near future.
A BIG Thank You
We would also like to say a big Thank You to the Friends of Home-Start who have raised £600 in the last six months through a variety of things including; book sales, carol singing and tabletop sales. They also set up and run our new Buggy Bank and sent our Amazon Wishlist to their networks which resulted in every single item being donated!
You are all amazing and we couldn’t do it without you!

March Training
We welcomed 11 new amazing volunteers to our team after we wrapped up our training last month. We are looking forward to our next training.
April Updates
Food Bank
We are organising a Food Bank to for our families in need on the 8th of April at our office in Kentish Town. We will need volunteers to help out on the day. If anyone is free to help at the Food Bank please contact Naomi via email at director@homestartcamden.org
Big Hopes Big Future
Our new School Readiness programme is also starting for Home-Start families that need some extra support on the 30th of April. Children will learn the necessary skills and gain confidence for the start of their exciting journey in school or nursery. In order to further develop these skills at home, families will be given lots of games, books and toys.
