Home-Start Camden & Islington is recruiting for a Family Liaison Manager working 35 hours per week across Camden and Islington.

This rewarding role involves supporting families with young children through home visits and community-based support, managing volunteer support programmes, building relationships with partner agencies and helping families access the right services at the right time.

Home-Start is looking for a compassionate, organised and motivated individual with experience working with children and families, strong communication skills and an understanding of safeguarding and community engagement.

Based in Kentish Town with flexible home, office and community working, the role offers a salary of £37,310 per annum (FTE).

Paid Role: Community & Volunteer Events Coordinator

Home-Start Camden & Islington is also recruiting for a Community & Volunteer Events Coordinator role (28 hours per week).

The successful candidate will coordinate community projects, family activities, volunteer engagement, workshops and wellbeing events across Camden and Islington. The charity is looking for someone organised, proactive and community-focused with experience delivering projects, activities or events and building positive relationships with families, volunteers and local partners.

Volunteer Journalists, Writers & Content Creators

Home-Start Camden & Islington is inviting volunteer journalists, writers, bloggers and content creators to join its growing communications team and help create engaging articles, blogs and online content for families across Camden and Islington.

The flexible remote role involves contributing one article, blog or short video each month, alongside occasional meetings to stay connected with the charity’s work. Volunteers can explore topics including parenting, babies and children, school life, local events, budgeting, family wellbeing and opportunities for parents and young children.
