We’re looking for volunteers who would like to help us share the stories of Home-Start Camden & Islington through articles, photographs and social media.
It’s a great opportunity to use your creativity while helping us reach more families and celebrate the work of our volunteers and partners.

Another Successful Volunteer Preparation Course
We are delighted to celebrate another successful Volunteer Preparation Course, with 10 new volunteers completing their training on 9th July.
Over the past few weeks, participants have explored the Home-Start approach, developed new skills and learned how they can support families across Camden and Islington.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations on completing the course. We look forward to welcoming you into the Home-Start community and seeing the difference you will make for local families.
Training Opportunities This October
Our next Volunteer Preparation Course starts on 1st October. If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone with childcare experience and an interest in Home-Start Camden and Islington into our community.
Our training sessions provide practical knowledge, new skills and the opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about supporting families.

Welcome to Our New Community & Volunteer Events Coordinator
We are pleased to welcome Christina Tsartsaraki to Home-Start Camden & Islington as our new Community & Volunteer Events Coordinator.
Christina will be supporting community events, volunteers, fundraising activities and communications, helping to share the stories of our families, volunteers and local partnerships.
We are delighted to have Christina join the team and look forward to the months ahead.
Another Successful School Readiness Programme
We have recently completed another Big Hopes Big Futures School Readiness Programme, supporting children and parents as they prepare for the transition to primary school.
The programme gives families the opportunity to build confidence, develop early learning skills and prepare children for this important milestone through fun and engaging activities.
A special thank you to the Camden Creche team for providing childcare throughout the programme, allowing parents to take part and get the most out of each session.

Families Enjoy a Visit to the Foundling Museum
Our families recently enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Foundling Museum, spending time together exploring the museum and taking part in creative activities.
Days like these give families the chance to learn something new, build confidence and enjoy quality time together in a welcoming environment.
